"Rhea County's REAL Information Source"
Correction
I was notified earlier today about a mistake in one of our stories.

Here at
RheaCountyNewspaper.com we strive to print only the truth and be fair about it.
We also will not "candy coat" a story so as to make anyone feel special.

In a story written entitled "
Back in Black: AC/DC or the Police" I had written:

"We will provide an update to this story as we gather information in attempt to verify our
"sources" claim that the cost to repaint the cars black and white was between $2,500 to
$3,000 per car, depending on how many decals had to be removed."

I have been informed that the original reported cost to paint the patrol cars black and white
was incorrect and the actual cost was $500 per car and not the $2,500 to $3,000 as
originally reported. Another fine example of how online publishing is so much better.
Corrections can be made instantly and not placed in a small tiny section hidden in

Remember people, I can only go by what I am told and what I try to determine as factual.

So you guys, by all means, if you find something that is not factual drop us a line at
