| Gracie’s word for the day: “Empathy” |
| Editors Note: As an editor here on this mind boggling adventure into this online alternative newspaper, I figure I can comment on anything i desire. In fact, any of you people reading this can do the exact same thing. To have debates, discussion, etc. is healthy. Naturally, certain people may not like what they read but so long as it is true then there is nothing much that can be done. I am full aware of those little "set up situations" and the host of other things that are used to try to induce that so called systematic intimidation so as to force people to "back off" or run stick their head in the sand. I know how the system functions because for 4 years i was a part of that very system. That was the real beginning of my eye opening process. I did not like the way things were then and I do not like the way they are now because nothing has changed. Even most of the same old faces remain. For those interested in self preservation, you must try to be wise and always strive to be full aware of your surroundings. You must also expect the unexpected because who in their right minds would waltz through a snake infested swamp blindfolded? So in order to somehow try to protect yourselves, you must do exactly that... PROTECT YOURSELF. As for me, I have long since compiled documents that stem from investigations that led to the abolishment of constables in Rhea County. I have found that the best way to be able to stand up against city hall or whoever may work for it is to gather things up and annex them to federal proceedings. By doing so, I can create a public record that is free to anyone. The kicker is I make such things part of a "federal record". Federal means federal judges, federal investigators and federal anything else that may be needed to protect myself if the case were to ever arise. In any event, self preservation isn't what I was wanting to comment on. I wanted to expound just a little on Gracie's article. I want to address a couple things in the Topix comment section that Gracie referred to. I have copied a mirror image of the comment here. I want to focus upon the last paragraph that Chief Chris Sneed said the day AFTER the meeting. For the record, we audio recorded the entire segment of what happened at that council meeting and initially Mayor Vincent asked Chief Sneed if he had anything to say and he sat there quiet as a mouse with a red face. I will gladly post the entire audio on here for any person who doubts this. Only when Sneed was pressured did he make mention of "serious allegations" and how we all would have a meeting to discuss it. Naturally, that meeting never occurred. Also, Herald-News Publisher-emeritus was at that meeting as well. Ed and the Dentons had a deal that IF they got on the agenda and brought it up he would "have their backs". This turned out to be a not the case at all. Also, Mayor Vincent himself encouraged the Dentons to come to the council meeting and file their grievances publicly as he said that he has had numerous complaints on the police department and that this could be the catalyst to "make some heads roll". Folks, none of this stuff is made up!!! You know, this is old news but who knows, I may make this saga some sort of tell-all mini series or something, who knows... Then again, I am growing weary of it all. Really I am. I have already threw my hands in the air and left Dayton. That town is no longer safe for free thinking people, in my opinion. Anyway, back to what I was wanting to comment on... The last paragraph of the Topix comment containing the Herald-News version of what was said (completely different from the audio recording) I want to expound on something Sneed said. Here is the last paragraph... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "He has sued the Dayton Police Department; he has sued the Rhea County Election Commission, he has been arrested for criminal trespassing, for public intoxication and DUI,” Sneed said.“Just to be honest, Roy seems to have problems with everyone he deals with, particularly those in positions of authority.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sneed is correct in part. Roy Denton did sue Chief Kenny Walker but NOT the police department. The result was Denton lost the lawsuit as expected. However, the eventual outcome which was the intended outcome all along, was the removal of Chief Kenny Walker from his job. As you all know, Chief Walker abruptly resigned tendering a hasty resignation. In that regard, Denton won. Next Sneed says that Denton sued the election commission. Chief Sneed is absolutely correct and once again that lawsuit was not lost, but was dismissed voluntarily by Denton with the county agreeing to pay the cost. Go check it out if you do not believe me. What was the result of that lawsuit? You guessed it. The Election Administrator, Barbara Colbaugh resigned! Do you folks see a pattern evolving here? Remember, the legal system is NOT a justice system because justice is never found in a court room. It is more like a chess game with rules and strategy. If you know the rules and have a little common sense and can play by the rules, then you can win. Sure, you may not win money but then again winning isn't always about money, is it? Next Sneed spouts off that Roy Denton has been arrested for "Criminal Trespassing". That is completely false and strict proof could be demanded for such false statement, period. Roy Denton has NEVER been arrested for criminal trespassing. See how easy it is folks? If someone prints a lie about you simply stand up and call them down on it. That is one big reason certain people get pissed off at RheaCountyNewspaper.com but never refute anything ever published!!! Truth simply cannot be refuted. Chief Sneed is right on target about the public intoxication charge because as all TV stations and radio stations wayyyy back then reported, Denton was passed out in the front seat of his own car not very much aware of anything. And as for the DUI, Sneed once again is wrong. The charge was DUI by Consent/Allowance which Denton has long since posted a $100 cash reward to the first person to show him the statute of such an offense. The reason no person has ever collected the reward is because no such law exists, period. It seems the making up of charges seems to be a common practice in Rhea County. I mean, it sure provides for lots and lots of bail bonds and as we all know, lots of bail bonds equals lots of DOLLARS. Lastly, Chief Sneed says that “Just to be honest, Roy seems to have problems with everyone he deals with, particularly those in positions of authority.” Well, honestly Roy doesn't seem to have much problem with anyone except with those in authority positions. It isn't that he detests authority he just detests authority that is given to people merely due to who they are, not what they have earned and he also detests those who abuse authority. So there you have it folks. You have just been shown how to properly dissect a persons collection of the mindless spouting of words where some comments have been admitted and some denied and I even attached evidence to support my assertions of fact. And by the way, I am an excellent chess player. Now that is something that can actually be said, "honestly". |
