| Well, I guess the mystery as to "why" Herald-News reporter, Max Hackett seemed to never attend public meetings has been answered. Obviously, the disgruntled drunk has shown us all "why" he didn't attend all the meetings he was paid to attend and cover as a news reporter. Thank God for RheaCountyNewspaper.com! As readers have noticed, a simple search of this site and you will find that we have in essence "targeted" Max Hackett. He was targeted for exposure due to nothing more than his own actions. If the dude had a bad marriage, a problem or just a plain drunk hiding behind a "pen name" then it is of his own doing. If he wants to point blame, he needs only to look into a mirror. In any event, Max Hackett was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespassing. On Thursday, December 20th Max Hackett was apparently at an apartment "raising hell" being drunk and disorderly. Police tried to cut Hackett a break by telling him to just calm down and walk back to his house, which was just a short walk across the grassway. Hackett refused and decided to stay at the apartment and "raise hell" so he got charged and hauled off to jail. Dayton City Police obviously went the extra mile to help Hackett, which is a good thing to do. Remember now, Max Hackett is not his real name. His real name is Chester Smith. Heck, that name sounds almost as unbelievable as a name like Max Hackett which by the way he said was his "legal name" in a message posted. Click here to see it. Had Hackett simply complied, shut his mouth and walked home he probably would still have a job. Even I know when to shut my mouth even though at times these words appear to be to the contrary. Hackett was arraigned in General Sessions court where Judge McKenzie allowed Hackett to be released on a SIGNATURE bond. Then what does Max/Chester do? He does like any other coward who gets busted and can't handle the publicity, or the pressure. He runs off and joins drug rehab. Is this the part where I stop typing and pray for this guy or what? Just as were the actions of Max Hackett simply not doing his job by attending a public meeting and write a stupid report on it, he chose not to do it. Instead, just as he used the fake name of "Max Hackett" the smirky weasel faked stories as if he was actually there. My question is, just how long has this dude been "fudging" the news? Once again people, thank God for RheaCountyNewspaper.com! Now back to the judge, it is absolutely questionable as to why Judge Jimmy forces everyone else to pay MONEY for their bond to get out of jail while allowing some dude that can't hold down a job out on his signature. Wonder which signature the judge made him sign? Wonder who got the reach around? In any event, tah-tah and toodle-loo to Max Hackett and his fake news writing. Yep, just another brick in the wall I guess. Or should I say, one less brick... |
