The Bradley County Bar Association passed three resolutions in support of Circuit
Court Judge John Hagler who announced his resignation on Tuesday. It is totally
expected how these members of the same club are standing up for their “brother” club
member.

Members of the county bar association and individual attorneys from McMinn, Meigs,
Monroe and Polk counties attended a special meeting of the bar Thursday afternoon in
Cleveland.

The resolutions expressed “complete confidence” in Hagler; called for any person,
entity or agency having a tape or copies of a tape or transcripts of the same should
immediately return them to Hagler; and requested the U.S. Attorney and/or Federal
Bureau of Investigation to investigate the facts and circumstance surrounding the
release of the tape or tapes and whether the release was an attempt to improperly
influence the administration of justice.

Bar Association President John Kimball said Thursday evening 54 member attorneys
were present at the 2 p.m. meeting.

During the meeting, Judge Hagler released a statement that was read to the attorneys
by retired General Sessions Court Judge Van Deacon.

The letter said he had just been told the district attorney’s office said support for my
judgeship could trigger his office’s public disclosure “of private information secretly
taken from my possession several years ago. This property should have been
returned to me on Dec. 7 when I was told by the district attorney and Tennessee
Bureau of Investigation that I had committed no crime and that there is no longer any
criminal investigation involving me.”

“No district attorney or judge can tell officers of the court what they may do or say
regarding the integrity or fitness of a judge. I certainly do not intend to do so.”
Hagler said it is his opinion that publication of the tape would invade his privacy and
cause greater emotional pain to my family, violate various state and federal laws and,
“unfortunately, unwittingly involve the district attorney in activity designed to obstruct
the administration of justice.

“If the tape does not contain criminal or unethical activity as I have been told, then its
only proper use would be to determine my capacity to properly discharge the duties of
the office.”

This was pretty much the gist of what amounts to a perverted old man who happened
to be a lawyer, who happened to get elected judge, who happened to present himself
to the public as a “good guy” while obviously, deep down he was and apparently still
is, a
PERVERT.

This judge sat in a court and judged other people for crimes? Isn’t this like “the pot
calling the kettle black”?

Now in spite of the fact that an audio tape “got out” and which tape somehow had his
secret “
fantasies” on it, he wants all his tapes back because they are his personal
property. How stupid can this perverted 65 year old fart be?

You mean, this dude wants his tapes back so he can keep his dark little secret all to
himself? Hey people, other journalists and writers can copy-cat in dancing all around
this subject if they want to. It's like everyone is for some reason afraid to offend, or
piss this EX-judge off, or to somehow justify his obvious perverted actions. Sorry
folks, not me. My creed is
say what you mean and mean what you say. Therefore, he is
a 65 year old perverted man in my book, nothing more, nothing less.

Personally, I think they need to give a medal to whoever turned the tape in and the
entire contents of the tape be plastered all over the Internet. I mean after all, this man
was trusted by the people of the judicial district in which he was elected Circuit Judge,
which is a very powerful position. For this man to all of a sudden jump up and resign
due only to the content of some audio recording, then what ever is on that audio tape
must be awful, awful bad. And now, we have a group of shyster lawyers wanting this
side show
fantasy maker withdraw his resignation and even have the feds investigate
who “leaked the tape”.

And these are the judges and the attorneys that are supposed to live up to such a high
standard or morals and all that crap? As for me, I say he should have his law license
taken away, be made to sit in his old court room, at his old judge’s bench and listen to
his “audio tape of personal
fantasies” along with the rest of us in a packed court
house. Our luck he'd just sit there foaming at the mouth in a perverted daze...

Call me nosey, but I would like to know just what sort of “
fantasy” would a 65 year old
saggy skinned man have that would justify his giving up his elected judgeship in order
to keep it secret? Was his
fantasy sexual? What was it?

Was he one of those old time farm boys who “
fantasized” about peanut butter and a
goat? Just what was so bad about his “
fantasy” that forced him to react in such an
extreme way?

I know one thing, if people knew some of my fantasies I’d probably end up in jail, or in
some institution. My goodness, I bet science would want my brain after I’m dead just
so they could try and figure out what made me think the thoughts I think, whew’

So perhaps this judge should be required to produce his audio tape because as a
public figure, while in a public office, while using an audio tape probably bought with
public money, the actual recording of the audio “
fantasy“, then it is hard pressed to
find where he has any ownership in anything. And as for some sort of expectation of
privacy, how could he as a public official even expect anything to be private?

In fact, if the District Attorney, the cops, the T.B.I. the F.B.I. along with members of the
THP’s “
Lick it or Ticket” club and all other public agencies involved they should make
the audio tape available because there should NOT be any secrets in government,
period. When this judge raised his hand and signed on to his public job as a judge, he
placed himself in a very unique position. Well, to have your personal fantasy on the
back side of an official court recording containing case dictations, then he should
have thought twice.

Hey, it is nobody’s fault but this guys. It was he that chose to cross the lines of
perversion. Sure the man is entitled to his personal “
fantasies” but he is not entitled to
act like a good church going family man who loves everyone and all that crap, while at
the same time behind closed doors he is probably cutting off the heads of chickens or
fantasizing about being playing the “Priest and the Alter Boy" game.

John Hagler has simply gotten caught and is now exposed for what he really is, which
obviously is a
PERVERT.

This dude should NOT be allowed to divert attention from the real issues. He should
not be allowed to try and play the “I’m the poor victim” card either.

Play his
fantasy to the world and let him pay his debt to society just as we all have to
do. I mean if a judge can make my wife pay 10 bucks for a seat belt ticket then this
pervert of a "
has been" judge can at least stand up and admit that he is a walking,
talking freak of nature with a law degree.

That almost sounded poetic…
Judge's perverted "Fantasy" shows his public image
was nothing more than a "Fantasy"
